Signing: HAUNTED McMASTER, Friday October 10, 2008

Sunday, September 21, 2008

I'm writing this one in advance, as most likely I'm still at Fcon, trying to sell the last copies of my book to unsuspecting readers. In the meantime, I should probably take this opportunity to mention I've been invited to participate in a multi-author book signing event this October.

The event will be held at Titles Bookstore on the campus of McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, on October 10th. The evening, called "Haunted McMaster" will begin with a Ghost Walk of McMaster campus, led by someone from Ghost Walks of Hamilton dressed in fully costume, presenting a 15 to 20 minute tour of the campus. Then it's back to the bookstore for author readings and/or talks and book signings. It all starts around 7 P.M. and promises to include much more fun stuff — prizes included!

The list of authors currently stated to attend is impressive, to put it mildly. I'm thrilled to be included in their company, and as you see below each will have a few moments on stage to shine (along with being at a table with their books for the evening):

7:15:00 PM — Kelley Armstrong
7:30:00 PM — John Robert Colombo
7:45:00 PM — Richard Gavin
8:00:00 PM — Sèphera Girón
8:15:00 PM — Marcy Italiano
8:30:00 PM — Michael Kelly
8:45:00 PM — Gregory Lamberson
9:00:00 PM — Gord Rollo
9:15:00 PM — Simon Stantzas
9:30:00 PM — Edo van Belkom

I urge anyone in the area to attend. I'll be there beside a stack of copies of BENEATH THE SURFACE, no doubt still jet-lagged from my trip to England three weeks previous. Come say "hello" and use the opportunity to pickup a personalized copy of the book to go with the one I know you've already ordered from Humdrumming. Two are better than one, after all.

If any of you can't make it but would still like a signed copy, I'd suggest contacting Titles just before the event and letting them know. I'll do my best to sign those copies as well while I'm there ... if my arm doesn't give out.

Oh, and it looks as though I'll also have copies of THE SECOND HUMDRUMMING BOOK OF HORROR STORIES with me — both the paperback and the limited signed hardcover — should you want one of those as well.

Please save the date. I'll provide more details when I know them.

Otherwise, I'll do my best to provide a write-up of my adventures in England as soon as I can to fill you all in on all the gossip. Should be fun!
